Pursuant to a notice posted on August 25, 2021, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 10:03 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Guillen; Jetton; Minjarez; Morrison; Schofield; Turner, Chris; and White.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

(Representatives Anchia, Goldman, and Moody participating virtually, pursuant to Rule 4, Section 16A.)

 

(Representative Rose now present.)

 

(Representative Thompson, Senfronia now present virtually.)

 

The Committee held a statewide hearing regarding the 2020 U.S. Census data. Testimony was taken from the public.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 1:29 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
