Pursuant to a notice posted on August 10, 2022, the House Committee on Criminal Justice Reform, Interim Study met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Leach, at 9:20 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Leach; Moody; Bowers; Buckley; Cook; Hefner; Morales, Eddie; Smith; Thompson, Senfronia; and Citizen Tolman, Brett.

 

A quorum was present.

Examine opportunities to reduce recidivism and remove barriers to re-entry after justice involvement.
