Pursuant to a notice posted on April 23, 2021, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Alex Dominguez, at 11:01 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Dominguez; Goodwin; Kacal; Kuempel; Morales Shaw; Morrison; and Reynolds.

 

A quorum was present.

HB 1820

 

The chair laid out HB 1820 as pending business.

 

Representative Goodwin offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Reynolds moved that HB 1820, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Dominguez; Goodwin; Morales Shaw; Morrison; Reynolds (5).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Landgraf; Kacal; Kuempel (3).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Dean (1).

 

At 11:03 a.m., on the motion of Representative Dominguez and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
