Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 7, 2021, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Landgraf, at 1:54 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Landgraf; Dominguez; Dean; Goodwin; Kacal; Kuempel; Morales Shaw; and Reynolds.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

SB 1261

 

The chair laid out SB 1261 as pending business.

 

The chair moved that SB 1261, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion failed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Landgraf; Dean; Kacal; Kuempel (4).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Dominguez; Goodwin; Morales Shaw; Reynolds (4).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Morrison (1).

 

SB 900

 

The chair laid out SB 900.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

The chair moved that SB 900, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Landgraf; Dominguez; Dean; Goodwin; Kacal; Kuempel; Morales Shaw; Reynolds (8).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Morrison (1).
