Pursuant to a notice posted on May 17, 2021, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Leach, at 12:32 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Leach; Johnson, Julie; Krause; Middleton; Moody; Schofield; and Smith.

 

A quorum was present.

SB 456

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Johnson, Julie moved that SB 456, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
