Pursuant to a notice posted on May 25, 2021, and permission granted on May 25, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 11:00 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Dominguez; Bowers; Buckley; Dean; Ellzey; Gervin-Hawkins; Guerra; Meyer; Middleton; and Morales, Christina.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Representative Geren moved that the floor amendments to SB 1351 by Representative Bernal and SB 41 offered by Representative Leach be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

At 11:03 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
