Pursuant to a notice posted on February 25, 2021, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Dutton, at 8:04 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Dutton; Lozano; Allen; Allison; Bell, Keith; Bernal; Buckley; González, Mary; Huberty; King, Ken; Talarico; and VanDeaver.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Chairman Harold V. Dutton, Jr. welcomed the committee and gave introductory remarks and organizational information.
