Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2021, and permission granted on May 5, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Ken, at 6:04 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Ken; Gervin-Hawkins; Burns; Frullo; Krause; and Martinez.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 700, the Senate companion to HB 1615.

 

The chair moved that SB 700, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
