Pursuant to a notice posted on September 17, 2021, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Ken, at 9:03 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Ken; Burns; Frullo; Krause; Martinez; and Morales, Christina.

A quorum was present.

The committee met jointly with the Agriculture and Livestock committee to hear invited testimony only on proposed rules by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Animal Health Commission related to Chronic Wasting Disease.
