Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2021, and permission granted on March 3, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Paddie, at 8:03 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Paddie; Hernandez; Deshotel; Harless; Howard; Hunter; King, Phil; Lucio III; Metcalf; Raymond; Shaheen; and Slawson.

 

A quorum was present.

At 12:27 p.m., on the motion of Representative Paddie and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
