Pursuant to a notice posted on June 3, 2022, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Metcalf, at 9:01 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Metcalf; Hernandez; Harless; Howard; Hunter; King, Phil; Raymond; and Slawson.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

Representative Patterson was also in attendance.

The Chair made opening remarks.

(Representative Shaheen now present.)

 

The Committee took testimony on the update on proposed changes to ERCOT market design.

At 1:20 p.m., on the motion of Representative Metcalf and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
