Pursuant to a notice posted on May 19, 2022, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Metcalf, at 10:02 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Metcalf; Hernandez; Harless; Howard; Hunter; King, Phil; Raymond; and Slawson.

A quorum was present.

The Chair made opening remarks.

The committee took testimony on implementation of SB 2.

The committee took testimony on weatherization efforts of power generation facilities.

The committee took testimony reviewing reduction of transmission congestion in the electrical grid.
