Pursuant to a notice posted on May 17, 2021, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Canales, at 12:31 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Canales; Thompson, Ed; Ashby; Bucy; Harris; Landgraf; Lozano; Martinez; Ortega; Perez; Rogers; and Smithee.

A quorum was present.

SB 2187

The chair laid out SB 2187 as pending business.

Representative Bucy moved that SB 2187, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Canales; Thompson, Ed; Ashby; Bucy; Harris; Landgraf; Lozano; Martinez; Ortega; Perez; Rogers; Smithee (12).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

SB 935

The chair laid out SB 935 as pending business.

Representative Bucy offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Bucy moved that SB 935, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           Representatives Thompson, Ed; Rogers (2).
