Pursuant to a notice posted on March 5, 2021, and permission granted on March 10, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cortez, at 11:07 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cortez; Bernal; Campos; Johnson, Jarvis; Minjarez; and Morales Shaw.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The Chairman heard testimony on the impact of Winter Storm Uri and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
