Pursuant to a notice posted on March 17, 2021, and permission granted on March 18, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Meyer, at 11:03 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Meyer; Thierry; Button; Cole; Guerra; Martinez Fischer; Murphy; Noble; Rodriguez; and Shine.

The chair laid out HB 1195 as pending business.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
