Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 8:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair lays out the recommended list of bills for placement of the Local and Uncontested

Calendar to be held on April 29, 2021.

 

Senator Alvarado moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local &

Uncontested Calendar to be held on April 29, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. be certified. The motion

carried with a record vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 2 absent.

 

The chair laid out as a matter of pending business SCR 22.

 

Senator Buckingham moved that SCR 22 be reported favorably to the Senate with the

recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 5 ayes, 0

nays, 0 present not voting, and 2 absent.

 

Senator Buckingham moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 8:06 AM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
