Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, May 24, 2021, in the Betty King Committee Room at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:50 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair lays out the recommended list of bills for placement of the Local and Uncontested

Calendar to be held on May 19, 2021.

Senator Johnson moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local &

Uncontested Calendar to be held on May 26, 2021 be certified. The motion carried with a record vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.

There being no further business, at 9:56 AM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
