Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in the Press Room at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 2:03 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out HCR 67 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Lucio, Jr., to explain the bill.

 

Senator Johnson moved that HCR 67 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent.

 

There being no further business, at 2:06 PM Senator Johnson moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
