The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Other members in attendance: Senator Carol Alvarado, Senator Drew Springer, and Senator Sarah Eckhardt. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Senator Hancock made opening remarks.
Senator Nichols moved that all testimony be limited to 3 minutes. Without objection, it was so ordered.
The Chair opened invited testimony on the following purpose:
The purpose of this hearing is to examine the financial impacts to the electric grid and market participants resulting from the extreme cold weather outages over February 14, 2021 to February 19, 2021
Witnesses testifying an registering are shown on the attached list.
There being no further business, at 1:11 PM Senator Hancock moves that the Committee stand in recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
