The chair called the meeting to order at 9:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The chair made opening remarks.
The chair opened invited testimony (see attached witness list) for the following purpose:
Discuss the actions taken by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), the Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUC), and other entities to ensure reliability of the electric grid during the 2021-2022 Winter Season, and consider the implementation of SB 3 and related legislation, including ongoing rulemaking and proposed changes to the ERCOT market design.
