Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Friday, February 26, 2021, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM. The following business was transacted:

 

The chair made opening remarks.

 

Public testimony was heard on SB I – Article II. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

 

At 12:04 PM Senator Perry assumed the chair.

 

At 12:12 PM Senator Nelson resumed the chair.

 

The chair closed testimony on Article II.

 

Senator Nelson moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 12:55 PM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed until Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Without objection, it was so ordered.
