Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Monday, May 10, 2021, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Huffman moved that HB 2080 do not pass but that CSHB 2080 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 12 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 3 absent.

Senator Kolkhorst submitted a motion in writing asking to be shown voting aye on SB 734, SB 2247, HB 1197, HB 1544, HB 2080, HB 2530, HB 3786, HB 3788, HB 3799 and HJR 125.
