This hearing originally scheduled for 8:00am will convene at 9:00am.

 

*Public testimony will be limited to two (2) minutes*

Witness registration will open at 8:00am on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Witnesses are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.

 

The committee will hear public testimony on the following bill:

 

SB 6           Huffman | et al.                                       
Relating to rules for setting the amount of bail, to the release of certain defendants on a monetary bond or personal bond, to related duties of certain officers taking bail bonds and of a magistrate in a criminal case, to charitable bail organizations, and to the reporting of information pertaining to bail bonds.
