The Committee will meet in a public hearing and hear public and invited testimony to consider the following:

 

Charge #2: Evaluate the availability of workforce housing to support the dynamic economic growth of the state. Study the use of public-private partnerships and other tools to incentivize the development of housing that meets Texasí expanding workforce demands. Develop and include measures to ensure accountability and transparency associated with these tools.

 

and;

 

Charge #3: Review the Municipal Management District Legislative Template with respect to representation and accountability. Make recommendations for improving the template.

Public access to the meeting: Upon entering the building, visitors will go through airport style security (metal detectors and x-ray machine for bags).  Driverís license must be shown to the guard and the visitor will be given a visitor badge.  They will use the elevator to go to the second floor. Upon exiting the elevator, they will see double doors to enter the council chamber.
