NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

To protect the health and safety of members, staff and the public, COVID -

19 testing and wrist bands are required for access to the Senate hearing

room. Free COVID testing and wristbands are available in E1.010.

 

Anyone wishing to provide oral public testimony must register by

11 am or upon recess of the Committee hearing, whichever may come first.

 

Oral testimony is limited to 3 minutes. If providing written testimony,

bring 40 copies, with your name on each copy, to the registration table

outside the hearing room, E1.036. Those registering a position-only may do

so at any Senate kiosk by the end of the hearing.

 

·                Oral testimony: fill out a paper witness card at the registration

     table outside the hearing room, E1.036, and submit to SFC staff.

·                Oral and written testimony: fill out a paper witness card at the

     registration table outside the hearing room, E1.036 and submit

     your witness card and written testimony to SFC staff.

·                Position only: register using the Senate kiosk located in the

     extension hallways or by going to http://swrs on public-capitol.

·                Written testimony only: register your position using the Senate

     kiosk and then bring 40 copies, with your name on each copy, to

     the registration table outside the hearing room, E1.036 and

     submit to SFC staff.

Relating to a temporary reduction in the maximum compressed tax rate of a school district and the form of the ballot proposition to be used in an election to approve a tax rate adopted by a school district that exceeds the district's voter-approval tax rate; making an appropriation.
