NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The committee will meet to consider the following:

 

SB 54          Zaffirini              
Relating to a study and report by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board regarding best practices for assisting students with autism spectrum disorder.

SB 956         Hinojosa | et al.       
Relating to measures to support or enhance graduate medical education for the practice of podiatric medicine in this state.

SB 1091        Creighton              
Relating to the automatic admission of students to general academic teaching institutions.

SB 1360        Hughes                 
Relating to notice of a state or federal investigation of alleged criminal conduct by a student or a faculty member or other instructor of a public or private institution of higher education in this state; authorizing a civil penalty.

Those wishing to give public testimony, please limit prepared remarks to 2

minutes. If submitting written testimony, please submit 12 copies, with

your name on each copy, to the Committee during the hearing.

 

To protect the health and safety of members, staff and the public, the

Senate Higher Education Committee will strictly follow all Senate

rules relating to the pandemic, including the requirement for a negative

COVID-19 test to enter the hearing room.
