Relating to the evaluation of child-care providers participating in the Texas Rising Star Program.

Relating to the Preparation for Adult Living Program and other services for foster children transitioning to independent living.

Relating to the definition of exploitation for purposes of investigating reports of exploitation against certain elderly persons and persons with disabilities.

Pending Business

Oral testimony: fill out a paper witness card and submit to the Clerk.

Oral and written testimony: fill out a paper witness card and hold on to

your documents until your name is called to testify.

Position only: register using the Senate kiosk located in the extension

hallways.

Written testimony only: register your position using the Senate kiosk then

bring your 20 copies, with your name on each copy, to the Assistant Clerk,

during the hearing.

Public oral testimony will be limited to 2 minutes.

To protect the health and safety of members, staff and the public, the

Senate Health and Human Services Committee will strictly follow all Senate

rules relating to the pandemic, including the requirement for a negative

COVID-19 test to enter the hearing room.
