SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 46

WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal milestones, and Peter Thomas Scarborough participated in that joyful occasion with his graduation from Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin on May 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Austin High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences that Mr. Scarborough has gained there will forever enrich his life; and

WHEREAS, The son of John and Andrea Scarborough, Peter Scarborough was a member of the golf team at Austin High, and he received an academic all-state award; he further distinguished himself through his involvement with the National Honor Society and Link Crew; he plans to continue his education at the University of Richmond; and

WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Peter Thomas Scarborough on the occasion of his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Mr. Scarborough as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
