Amend HB 6 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 1, add the following section after line 10:
"SECTION 2. PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF FUNDS. The money appropriated by this Act may not be used to:
(a) acquire property through the exercise of eminent domain;
(b) build a barrier along this state's international border with Mexico on property acquired through the exercise of eminent domain;
(c) acquire property for a barrier that abuts the jurisdictional boundary between this state and another U.S. state; or
(d) build a barrier that abuts the jurisdictional boundary between this state and another U.S. state."
(2) On page 1, line 11 strike the words "SECTION 2" in the existing section and replace it with "SECTION 3".
