R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Elizabeth G. Alford has distinguished herself in her
  responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State
  Representative Terri Leo-Wilson during the 88th Legislative
  Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Alford has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, A sixth-generation Texan, Ms. Alford attended the
  Barbers Hill Independent School District in Mont Belvieu, and she
  is currently studying government and pre-law in the liberal arts
  honors program at The University of Texas at Austin; she has
  established an impressive record of leadership and civic
  engagement, including founding and serving as president of Girls
  Doing Good; and
         WHEREAS, Elizabeth Alford has performed her duties as a
  legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Elizabeth
  G. Alford for her service as a legislative intern in the office of
  State Representative Terri Leo-Wilson and extend to her sincere
  best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Alford as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
