R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of Reynaldo Molina III of La Casita, who passed away on August 4,
  2018, at the age of 29; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Reynaldo Molina Jr. and Esenia Bazan,
  "Rey Rey" Molina was born on May 20, 1989; he graduated from Rio
  Grande City High School in 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Molina received his peace officer license from
  the Laredo College Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 2010; he
  went on to earn an associate's degree in criminal justice from South
  Texas College in 2015 and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice
  from Lamar University in 2017, and he distinguished himself in his
  work as an investigator for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office;
  and
         WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Mr. Molina was employed by
  Sharyland High School in Mission as a criminal justice teacher;
  passionate about education and his career field, he also served as
  an adviser for the school's criminal justice club, and he created a
  nurturing and supportive learning environment for his students,
  inspiring some to continue their studies in criminal justice; a
  kind and caring man, he was beloved for his optimism and strength of
  character, and he made a lasting difference in his community; and
         WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth ended far too
  soon, Reynaldo Molina will forever be remembered with great
  admiration and affection, and his dedication to his family, his
  students, and his fellow educators will continue to serve as an
  inspiration to all who knew him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Reynaldo Molina III and extend deepest condolences to the members
  of his family: to his mother, Esenia Bazan; to his father, Reynaldo
  Molina Jr., and his wife, Nancy Molina; to his sister, Alissa
  Molina; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Reynaldo
  Molina.
