SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 38
         WHEREAS, Kambell Stewart participated in the National
  Rural Electric Cooperative Association Government-in-Action
  Youth Tour during the summer of 2023; and
 
         WHEREAS, Selected as a Youth Tour delegate by the
  Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Ms. Stewart joined some 1,500
  students from around the country for an all-expenses-paid trip to
  Washington, D.C.; in the course of the program, she learned about
  U.S. history and government, met with local political
  representatives, and toured various historic sites, such as
  Capitol Hill, the U.S. Supreme Court, and Arlington National
  Cemetery; and
 
         WHEREAS, A senior at Marble Falls High School, this bright
  young Texan plans to study agricultural economics at Texas A&M
  University; and
 
         WHEREAS, Kambell Stewart has distinguished herself as a
  young leader of great promise, and she may indeed take
  justifiable pride in participating in this exciting experience;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Kambell
  Stewart on taking part in the 2023 National Rural Electric
  Cooperative Association Government-in-Action Youth Tour and extend
  to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Stewart as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas Senate.
