SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 47

WHEREAS, Kyle Wright of Lindale High School was named the 2023-2024 Region 7 High School Assistant Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals; and

WHEREAS, Each year, TASSP recognizes administrators from across the Lone Star State for their exceptional performance; candidates for TASSP awards are nominated by their peers, and regional winners become eligible for statewide recognition; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Wright has served as assistant principal at Lindale High School for five years; this is his second consecutive nomination for the TASSP High School Assistant Principal of the Year honor; and

WHEREAS, The commitment to excellence that Kyle Wright has brought to his endeavors at Lindale High School has inspired faculty, staff, and students alike, and he is helping many young Texans acquire the skills they need to build fulfilling and productive lives; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Kyle Wright on his selection as the 2023-2024 Region 7 High School Assistant Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important work; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Mr. Wright as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
