SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 88

In Memory

of

Cain Lee

WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Cain Anthony Lee on October 30, 2023, at the age of 14, has brought an unimaginable loss to the family and friends of this beloved young man; and

WHEREAS, Cain was the cherished son of Cody and Natasha Lee, and he was blessed with the companionship of his older brother, Zander, and his twin brother, Carter; he went on to endear himself to many friends, and he was recognized by others as a talented athlete and a natural leader; and

WHEREAS, Cain demonstrated character and compassion far beyond his years; those traits, combined with his deep devotion to his faith, his family, and his country, made him a source of inspiration to everyone around him; and

WHEREAS, Although Cain Lee is greatly missed, he has left behind a wealth of wonderful memories, and he will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Cain Anthony Lee and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Cain Lee.
