Amend SB 2 by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:

SECTION ___.  Section 25.0344 (c), Education Code, ad added by Chapter 582 (H.B. 2892), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, is amended to read as follows:

(c)  A transfer under this section must be to a [the] campus of school district, as applicable, selected by the servicemember making the request that has the enrollment capacity to accommodate the transfer of the student.
