Amend SB 3 (house committee printing) on page 1, between

lines 22 and 23, by inserting the following appropriately lettered subsection:

(____)  Not later than December 1, 2024, the Trusteed Programs within the Office of the Governor shall submit to the legislature a report on the effectiveness of border barrier infrastructure constructed, operated, or maintained using money appropriated by Subsection (a) of this section in reducing the number of individuals unlawfully crossing this state's international border with Mexico.
