Amend SB 4 in SECTION 2 of the bill as follows:
(1) Immediately following added Section 51.02(d), Penal Code, insert the following:
(e) A peace officer enforcing this section may not:
(1) push a person into water;
(2) deny a person access to drinking water; or
(3) deny a person urgent medical care.
(2) Immediately following added Section 51.03(c), Penal Code, insert the following:
(d) A peace officer enforcing this section may not:
(1) push a person into water;
(2) deny a person access to drinking water; or
(3) deny a person urgent medical care.
