A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to making an appropriation for the construction, |
|
|
operation, and maintenance of a Department of Public Safety office |
|
|
in Liberty County. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION TO TRUSTEED PROGRAMS WITHIN THE |
|
|
OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR. The amount of $19,539,814 is appropriated |
|
|
from the general revenue fund to the Trusteed Programs within the |
|
|
Office of the Governor for use during the two-year period beginning |
|
|
on the effective date of this Act for the construction, operation, |
|
|
and maintenance of a Department of Public Safety office in Liberty |
|
|
County. |
|
|
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect |
|
|
immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members |
|
|
elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas |
|
|
Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for |
|
|
immediate effect, this Act takes effect on the 91st day after the |
|
|
last day of the legislative session. |
