R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the death
  of Rodrigo Garza Ramon Sr. of Robstown on August 6, 2022, at the age
  of 86; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Francisco Ramon and Felicidad Garza,
  Rodrigo Ramon was born on March 13, 1936, in Escobas, and he grew up
  with five siblings, Frances, Manuel, Heriberto, Teodoro, and
  Catarina; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ramon worked as a truck driver for Wilbur-Ellis
  until his retirement; engaged in his community, he was a member of
  St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Robstown Community Center; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ramon enjoyed a rewarding family life with his
  wife, Susana, who preceded him in death; the couple were blessed
  with four children, Lorraine, Rodrigo, Cathy, and Asuzena, and with
  the passing years, Mr. Ramon had the pleasure of seeing his family
  grow to include eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren;
  and
         WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in this esteemed
  man's love and friendship will always remember him with great
  admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Rodrigo Garza Ramon Sr. and extend heartfelt sympathy to the
  members of his family: to his children, Lorraine Ramon, Rodrigo
  Ramon Jr. and his wife, Brenda, Cathy Alaniz and her husband, Ruben,
  and Asuzena Ramirez and her husband, Guadalupe; to his sister,
  Frances Ramon; to his sister-in-law, Delia Ramon; to his
  grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and to his many other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rodrigo
  Ramon.
