Amend CSHB 3 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  On page 18, line 9 strike "with a total population of less than 350,000".

(2)  On page 18, between lines 20 and 21, insert the following appropriately lettered subsections and reletter subsequent subsections accordingly:

(____)  The sheriff of a county in which more than one school district or open-enrollment charter school is located is only required to hold one semiannual meeting described by Subsection (a); however districts and schools located within the same county may adopt different school safety policies.
