Amend CSHB 5 (house committee report) on page 22, between lines 6 and 7, by inserting the following appropriately numbered subdivision and renumbering subsequent subdivisions and cross-references to those subdivisions accordingly:
(____) require that the hourly wage paid during the construction period to all construction employees of the applicant, as well as employees of contractors and subcontractors in connection with the project, is not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the United States Department of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. Section 3141 et seq.), and its subsequent amendments.
