Amend HB 1680 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 6, strike "Subsection (d)" and substitute "Subsections (d), (e), and (f)".
(2) On page 1, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following:
(e) A health professional or other person providing services under the home visiting program must obtain the express consent of the owner or adult occupant of the residence or property before the person may enter the residence or property to provide services under the program.
(f) Subsection (d) does not authorize a health professional or other person providing services under the home visiting program to enter or remain in the residence or on the property of another in violation of Section 30.05, Penal Code.
