Amend CSHB 1803 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 1, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) An entity shall offer to individuals younger than 65 years of age who are eligible for and enrolled in Medicare by reason of disability or end stage renal disease an open enrollment period for coverage offered under Subsection (b) that begins on July 1, 2024, and ends not earlier than January 1, 2025. This subsection expires September 1, 2025.
(2) On page 2, line 1, strike "January" and substitute "July".
