Amend HB 1883 (senate committee report) in SECTION 1 of the bill, by striking added Section 39.0238(a), Education Code (page 1, lines 29 through 47), and substituting the following:
(a) In this section, "religious holy day or period of observance" means a holy day or a period of holy days observed by a religion whose places of worship are exempt from property taxation under Section 11.20, Tax Code.
