Amend HB 1898 (house committee printing) on page 2, between lines 2 and 3, by inserting the following:
(b-1) The commission may not award a grant under the grant program to a children's hospital that provides services, medications, or procedures for transitioning a child's biological sex as determined by the sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous profiles of the child or affirming the child's perception of the child's sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child's biological sex.
