Amend CSHB 1977 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 3, line 11, strike "Subsection (d)" and substitute "Subsections (d) and (e)".
(2) On page 4, line 3, strike "specialty court" and substitute "youth pretrial intervention program".
(3) On page 4, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) The commissioners court of a county is not required to establish or operate a youth pretrial intervention program as required by Subsection (a) or (d) if establishing or operating the program would result in the county incurring expenses for which the county does not have funding.
