Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 2 as follows:
(1) On line 14, strike "Unless" and substitute "(a) Except as provided by this section, unless".
(2) Between lines 19 and 20, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) This section does not limit the authority of a municipality or county to adopt, enforce, or maintain an ordinance, order, or rule that encourages, promotes, or provides rebates for water conservation or the restriction of water use to manage drought conditions, including through a drought contingency plan.
