Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 4, between lines 4 and 5, by inserting the following:
Sec. 102A.004. REMEDIES FOR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. (a) Any municipality or county official who is a defendant in a lawsuit arising from an action under Sec. 102A.002. and is found not liable or is dismissed from the lawsuit shall be entitled to recover costs and reasonable attorney fees incurred in their defense.
