Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 6 as follows:
(1) On line 7, strike "Unless" and substitute "Except as provided by this section, unless".
(2) Between lines 17 and 18, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) This section does not apply to an ordinance, order, or rule adopted to protect the health or safety of individuals in the municipality or county that adopts the ordinance, order, or rule during a disaster declared by the president of the United States or the governor.
