Amend CSHB 2127 (house committee printing) on page 2, line 6, between the semicolon and "and", by inserting the following appropriately numbered subdivision and renumbering subsequent subdivisions accordingly:

(____)  does not affect the authority of a municipality or county to adopt, enforce, or maintain an ordinance, order, or rule regulating a residential property, including a single-family dwelling unit or condominium, cooperative, or time-share, that is rented wholly or partly for a fee for a period not longer than 30 consecutive days;
